Sacer is where sustainability meets style, & where ethical streetwear becomes a statement. Proudly homegrown in Egypt, we’re a women-owned, women-led brand. Our pieces are made from upcycled pre-consumer waste and 100% certified Organic Egyptian cotton, designed for comfort and crafted with care. Soft, breathable, and lightweight, our fabrics come in inclusive fits because we believe everyone should feel seen and celebrated. From seed to closet, our supply chain is fully traceable, ensuring transparency every step of the way. But Sacer isn’t just about the clothes. Beyond eco-conscious fashion, we use our platform to amplify voices, advocate for mental health awareness, and give back to communities that need it most.

Ready to wear your values?

Proudly homegrown in Egypt, we’re a women-owned, women-led brand with 75% of our team being the incredible women who bring our vision to life. Female empowerment isn’t just a tagline for us—it’s woven into everything we do.

Let’s face it—the way we consume is out of control.

Fashion shouldn’t cost the earth, yet the industry keeps churning out more waste than we know what to do with. Since day one, we’ve said ‘no’ to the fast, the cheap, and the disposable. Instead, we’re here to challenge the system. We’ve spent years perfecting our process, designing fashion that’s not only sustainable but sparks conversations about mental health and social justice. We know we’re not perfect, and we don’t have all the answers. But we do know this: if we don’t start changing the way we consume now, it’ll be too late. That’s why we’re rethinking every thread, every stitch, and every product—not just to create fashion, but to create real change. Together, we can build a more conscious, thoughtful way forward.

THE FOUNDERS

A Medical Doctor & Psychologist started an eco-conscious advocacy brand?

Ali is a medical doctor, health economist, and public health practitioner who later on decided to join the United Nations where he worked for a variety of agencies in several countries tackling issues like human trafficking, migrant health, health policy, Nutrition and food security. He realized that the only way for him to be able to make a real difference in this world is to cut through the “red tape” and do it yourself. Along with his co-founder May they launched Sacer (previously Scarabaeus Sacer).

May is a psychologist with international experience in Switzerland and has worked in various psychiatric hospitals and clinics managing severe mental illnesses. She decided to bring in the mental health advocacy component to the brand tackling stigma surrounding this sensitive topic.

A brand with SDGs and social advocacy in its DNA was born.
